This design features hand drawn native New Zealand flora and fauna watercolour illustrations arranged into a William Morris inspired repeat pattern. This pattern showcases the majestic Kākāpō, a critically endangered nocturnal, flightless bird endemic to New Zealand.
Fabric pattern designed by Tamsin Baxendale & digitally printed on a cotton/linen blend fabric for a lovely hand feel and perfect absorbency. As this fabric is a digitally printed natural fading is to be expected. The digital printing process uses water-based pigment inks and dyes, with very little waste.
