Artist's Bio

Diana Adams has always been enthusiastic about the landscape, initially as a landscape architect, and in recent years as a painter.

Inspired by the rugged beauty of New Zealand, her paintings bare the landscape down to its most simple form to reveal the essence of the land beneath.

Diana gains inspiration from walking and tramping in the New Zealand wilderness.

She is based in Wanaka, a small town nestled amongst the alpine lakes and mountains in the South Island of New Zealand.  Within easy reach of untouched wild areas, Diana explores the majestically beautiful, yet imminently dangerous places.
